Browser and back arrow

OK, First post here. I have managed to create an app for use by a Forum I Admin on www.cdmagurus.com It's a simple app that just uses the browser function inside the app, but I'm running into one problem with testing.......... The back arrow to go back a page doesn't control the browser pages and takes you back to the apps main menu. Right now it's compiled for Android, if anyone would be willing to compile for iPhone I'd appreciate it I'm not a Mac user.

Yeah, the back-arrow in v1.4 does exactly as you describe. The idea is that the content owner would be pointing the URL to a screen (built with HTML) that expected to control it's own navigation. Back-forward, links to other screens, etc. As it turned out, lots of folks need what you are describing, back-function that navigates the browser back, not the app back. This is addressed in v1.5 with a browser tool bar with controls for the browser not the page. v1.5 will be released soon. Today, there are a few hacks to work around the problem you describe but most of the apps that use the hack didn't turn out to well ;-) If you're interested in digging through the Android / iOS source-code to work around this v1.4 limitation, re-post and we'll post some ideas on how to accomplish this. Our opinion is that you would just wait for the next release (could be out as early as this week).

Sense I plan to release this App within the following two weeks I am excited to see what v1.5 has in store. That is one reason why I have decided to wait for the new release because I've seen posts that the two version are not going to play together. But I am also always up for an adventure, so open to ideas also.

Good call! I think you'll be impressed / happy with the new features. The work is done for the iOS release, we are workign out some final details in the control panel before publicly releasing it. We'll get to work on porting it to Android after the control panel goes live. Thanks for the support, we genuinley appreciate it.
