How do I duplicate an app.

Can you duplicate apps? For instance, I want to use the same map for multiple purposes. Example. I'm doing an app for best restaurants by type of food. I want to do the best Mexican food in the area and show only Mexican restaurants. I want to use the same map (streets and cross streets) to show french, Indian, fast food etc. I would like to do one map and duplicate that one map. Once duplicated all I have to do is different latitudes and longitudes.

Makes perfect sense that you could! The next release (v1.5 coming soon) addresses some of the re-usable-screen issue exactly like your'e talking about. Stay tuned.

Hi David! First thing: v1.5 is a great tool, you made an fantastic job! Now it responds to (almost) all of my needs! And if in the future you develop AR features it would reach new summits! But I think a simple feature you should implement now in the backend is a simple Duplicate this app on the control panel... As tiger said in this thread, it would open new possibilities: series of apps about this or that but on the same model, personalized apps on the same model, and so on... We're currently developing a v1.5 app named LiondOr. It's about a restaurant and it has an offline content (so that users can get a part of the infos even without being connected) and an online content exploiting the data of our website (as you have seen in our SwissVU app). The idea is to be able to develop personalized apps based on our content for a minimal price, of course! If we could use any of our apps in the backend as a template by duplicating it, it would save a lot of time... and the final development price would drop down! Would it be difficult for you to implement this feature? Congratulations once again, thanks for all and best greetings! Jack

@fusions.ch You're ears must be buning! We were just talking about this the other day and I was literally programming this when I saw this forum post. It's 2:00 AM here and I'm almost done for the night. The duplicate-app feature should be available in a few days. We also hope to allow you to easiy duplicate screens within an app. Check back soon ;-)

I am finishing an iPhone app and would like to take it and also make it into an iPad app. Is there a way to duplicate this app so I can adjust screen size, etc., for the iPad? I don't want to have to copy and paste the content from the original app since it has 700+ screens.
