When I test it on my android phone I get an error that says There was a problem downloading an image. Please check your internet connection then try again. It also does not show on the emulator. There are SO MANY Android systems around. I can say it has nothing to do with the Sub-Menu and has only to do with the download an image from a URL process. About the best I can advise is to test on a few other devices, ideally from different handset makers, report your findings, and let us know.
