menu option: QR reader

all is lack is one menu option before i'm done... i would like to be able to scan a QR code. i know there are independent readers, but i would like the function to stay within my app. basically i would like the individual to open the menu item, the camera would come on, and the individual can scan the QR code. please advise what pricing and time would be to develop this menu option. thanks, don cox

Hi Don, We have done ZERO programming with bar-code readers and as such have no idea what it would take to add such a feature. It is something that a few folks have asked about and we do hope to figure this out in the future. Until we get change to take a breath (crazy around here) we can't offer any additional advice?

Hi David, I was wondering if there's been any progress made with adding a QR scanner? By the way - I'm so happy to have found buzztouch, its incredible! Cheers, Josh

Hi in Pultney, VT - wherever the heck that is, aweomse! So, havn't dug into any QR stuff in awhile. We're focussed on getting v1.5 for Android done. I'm thiking the has to be some code-examples, logic, packages in the wild somwhere that will allow this. Wish I could offer more today... sad face.

Hi David - That's totally understandable. I'm stoked to be getting started on here! BTW - Poultney is in the northeastern part of the US...heck we're practically in Canada :)
