Audio

A few Audio questions: Any idea how to cancel out a current function if it is taking to long to load? Seems as if the app just hangs if the file is to large and crashes. I tried to use the custom url and let the phone decided on intent to use the default phones player: Worked in the simulator but not on my droid x :( .

Need to find out why some mp3 will not play within the buzztouch app.. Right now some will just be at the waiting to load forever.. The only way out is to kill the app. I posed a question to Hotwheels in another post

Okay some info: I had to adjust the bitrate on the MP3 file.. Seems that 128 works the best... Once I did so all streaming issues have went away.

dude, you rock! I'm still buried in v1.5 as we near the iOS release (Android after that). The new player is super sweet and I'll need all these tidbits to get it working in Android.

sorry for the late reply... with 3G, don't exceed 128kbit/44100hz. with 4G (a real 4G) we can explore 160+ ...though not worth it.
