Splash screen?

sorry ... last question for the day. Is there any way to set a splash screen, i.e. the screen that shows while the app is loading?

This is a common question. And, like so many other things, it's on the way! Thats the obvious one, but, there are countless other things that we need to finish so you can change screen layouts, views, images, etc. We can't wait to get them in your hands. The only way to deal with this now is in Xcode. In the config directory of the Xcode project you downloaded, there is an image named Default.png, drag a new Default.png file in this directory (after removing the existing one) and the new image will display instead of the black, fake progress image. This mean you will need to create a 320px X 480px image. It must be this size - exactly. You'll probably use photoshop or something to do it. If you don't have any image editing tools, Google Image Cropper or something and find an online tool to resize some existing artwork. The nicer this image is, the better. Cheezy images are exactly that - cheezy. a) Delete Default.png in config/Default.png inside Xcode project b) Create a new image exactly 320 X 480, name it Default.png exactly, case sensitive. c) Drag it in the config directory. Compile, all will be well.

Dave I noticed that even though I am pulling a splash screen from a URL....jpg, it still shows the buzztouch image briefly instead of mine. Am I doing something wrong? solution: Nevermind....I did not remove the reference to logo.png. Works fine now.
