Menu/Sub-Menus

Hi, just a quick one! Is there a limit to how many Menus/Sub-Menus you can have on one app? The reason I am asking is because Im looking to create a directory based app where I want to store lots of information on different people. Im hoping the list will tally in the hundreds... Please let me know :) Many thanks!

There is no technical limit to the number of screens you create. However, it could get a bit tedious entering literally hundreds of items. It becomes especially difficult to update things and make changes when you have many levels of navigation, it's just trough to find things sometimes when you have lots of data. v1.5 is coming soon (month or so?) that will allow you to upload lists of things, or, create lists of things from a file stored on your website. You may want to wait until that version is available?

Im liking the sound of v1.5! I think ill wait till then... Also would it be possible to intergrate a search funtion? I think its difference between a good and great app. Would be so handy. Still... Looking forward to the new features!

Search is tough because it's not easy to determine what folks are searching for? v1.5 has screens for 'lists of things.' Example: List of videos, list of people, list of random stuff. These lists do support the searching idea with a search bar in the header, this is an iPhone centric approach. No idea how to implement the global search bar in Android. In other words, if you use the search on your home screen (android phone) shouldn't it search the contents of ALL the apps installed on the phone? Seems logical. Seems challenging. Stay tunes, in a few weeks lots of this will be answered. Thanks as usual, your support is huge!
