I have a couple screens I am using the Ultimate Screen Creator Droid for an Android only app. The screens are completely blank. For the life of me I can't seem to figure out what I am missing. The screens have a combination of buttons and text. I have made sure to name each field as well. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm having the same problem in IOS. Named the fields, saved data when screen appears.. the only change that even registers is the screen background color from black to white but even that only changes in a small block near the top of the screen - not the whole screen. Nothing else appears on the page. Any help appreciated.

So I tested both - iOS is working without any problems but Android Screen Creator gives me a blank screen :( Emailing Chris again

Well No response from Chris1 on this issue and he has since uploaded another plugin ignoring emails = sounds like this plugin is a dud guys No other choice to place a bad review. Ultimate Droid Creator Plugin does not work - my recommendations is to have it removed from the market until fixed.

@DMCD2528 I think with the Ultimate Creator for iOS works fine - you just need make sure you save twice when putting fields in - I lost all content once and notice the work around by mistake

I just created a new project with a single screen - the ultimate droid creator. I loaded it with a button, an image and a webview. It showed up just fine on my Eclipse emulator.

Also I want to address the response time ... Can you Give us a clue how we can reach you? - I have tried to pm you ...placed a bug report on your site and someone tried this thread ... Can you give us some direction what works for you? It's extremely frustrating when you purchase something and not working. It can be extremely frustrating to work on a plugin and think everything is fine. I understand YOU can get it to work but some of us can't. I am hoping you can see the package and reverse engineer this . Thanks again sheri

Thanks Sheri - I grabbed the BT_config.txt file out of your app and stuck it in my project. Found a bug right away that was causing the issue. Plugin has been updated.

Glad to see this is resolved! One habit I have developed with the Buzztouch control panel is adding items one at a time, so I can see if and when something breaks. I add one thing, then check on the simulator to make sure the app still works. I moved to that workflow after spending hours trying to debug an app that wouldn't work after I had added several items in the control panel. It turned out that had an apostrophe in a nickname, but it took forever to find the problem. (This is especially important on a live app.) The reason I mention this is because sometimes content will introduce characters in the config that cause the app to not work. Another thing that can happen is that perhaps that one feature in the plugin doesn't work and the problem hasn't been identified before. If you use this approach, then if you find a problem you can just not use that feature or skip that screen while you work with the plugin developer on a resolution. Also keep in mind that sometimes the problem may not be the result of a plugin. The developers of menu plugins often service problems that are not caused by their plugin.

Actually Susan just to clarify - that is EXACTLY my work flow especially with Android. If you see my example above the only screen in the package is the Ultimate Android Creator. I generally push myself to try to find the bug and report this does two things for me. 1. I am able to explore 2. I am able to learn. I have several plugins I have duct taped and put together for my own use. I generally tell the developer myself but more than often someone in the forum has chimed in the forum about the bug and it is fixed. I also feel like "hey I really understanding this crazy stuff" I value our plugin developers and am an advocate both financially and word of mouth. HOWEVER, my aggravation is I bought plugin in July. It is now October. Could this not been address prior? Also "Keep in mind" - majority of all of us here are still customers. We paid for a service. It's commerce. This seems to be forgotten. Life does happen and I willing to move on - Yet, it's no secret this has been a frustrating experience to say the least. I am thrilled that is got figured out. Lesson learn let's move on
