Any Tips for migrating Self Hosted?

Morning all I'm looking for any tips or gotchas in migrating my existing self hosted setup. I'm planning to move from a shared platform to an OVH VPS. Part of doing this is driven by a need to use HTTPS, as I understand Apple will insist on this from the beginning of next year and OVH support the free lets encrypt SSL, which my existing host provider won't allow. I've used OVH once before; I'm hoping nobody has a bad experience for self hosted with them. My plan is to adopt the approach Smug documented here: https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=96A4B2BBF646EFF569A9A23 Any tips gratefully received. Cheers, Alan

Can you describe what you mean by: "need to use HTTPS, as I understand Apple will insist on this from the beginning of next year"?

One article on google: https://techcrunch.com/2016/06/14/apple-will-require-https-connections-for-ios-apps-by-the-end-of-2016/ There are more, it is something I picked up a while back. I suspect it won't affect apps using the buzztouch.com control panel though.

Thanks Smug, that's the guide I was following! I've attempted the migration and started a new thread as I've hit a hurdle. Oops.
