Interest in a multi-day coding class with David Book?

I am posting to see if there is any interest in participating in a coding class with David Book. For this of you who were around earlier this year, think "CodeCamp". This would be a small class size - about 12 students - and the curriculum would be based on the audience that chooses to participate. We would hold it somewhere in the Eastern / Midwest USA and probably March - July timeframe. It would be "no-frills" and the participant would be responsible for a tuition fee, along with travel, meals and lodging expenses, and would have to bring their own Mac to actively code along with David. I am only soliciting interest at this point. Nothing will be announced formally until or unless we have enough legitimate interest. You may post here or e-mail me at [email protected]. Thanks!

If it's local enough and I can swing the cost, YES! Also, March/April in Florida is great: How about a Buzztouch Tampa Bay Spring Break!

I was at the last part of Code Camp, and it was great. The amount of learning that went on during those 5 days was incredible. David's an awesome teacher and every one of the students there worked their tail-ends off. Don't know if I'll make this coding class or not, but I definitely recommend that anyone that can does. David's teaching style is both professional and accessible. Can't ask for better than that for this community.

@Sheri: It's hard to imagine that you think a ridiculously funny hijacking of the hotel's network, which led to some interesting "video" on the classroom screen was anything other than a total riot. Your #4 bullet point suggests that somehow this was planned, cooridinated, or part of the content is a total joke. We know you had trouble attending last year, we understand, we wished you could make it. You couldn't. If we do this again we will do exactly like we did last time. The best we can to provide a wonderful, helpful, rich, and memorable learning experience. Nothing more, nothing less. This is nuts! "4. It is set up as a PROFESSIONAL classroom learning style that means : NO PORNOGRAPHY NO DRINKING AND NO SHENANIGANS during classroom hours or RATS - that could be done after if people CHOOSE IT - —I personally prefer to shake my FREAK FLAG a little different and closer to home. WORK is WORK and PLAY is PLAY - " David

Pleas keep me posted. If I can get time off, 'd love to take advantage of one of Dave's workshops. Could be closer to Carmel, Sonoma? or midwest - Louisville is nice.

Hi Warren - sounds like a great idea. It would try to make it in 2015. If there's anyway to include a fri-sun timeline, that's good too.
