First App Rejected

Hello, My first IOS App was rejected because they said it crashes upon launch on iPAD IOS 7. Then I submitted again and only made it for iPHONE, well that didn't work either with same result of crashing iPAD. I have tested this on the simulator, iPHONE and iPAD new versions, and cannot find any crash! Only thing I'm left with is their crash logs. Anyone know how to read these logs? LA

I know how to read many of them. Can you post them? Did you test on an actual device? Jake

Hey Jake Chasan, Not on iPAD because don't have one but did on my iPHONE. I'm not sure if the crash reports give any personal info away so I would rather e-mail them to you? There are three of them. LA

Hi LA: The zip you sent with the project seems to be empty, no Xcode Project, no images... Can you resend it? Jake

Hi LA, I have tested your app and it worked fine on the iPad. I noticed a couple things: -The Crash Reports do not specify the actual iPad (It said XXX for device type), but the file name did have MiPad, so I tested the app on an iPad mini. --Your app does not crash on the iPad mini -A good rule of thumb is when you send an app to Apple, always update it with the latest BT_Config, so they do not have to refresh it to see the content. What version of Xcode did you compile this with? Jake

I just updated to the new xcode 5, so it was the one before that. When you say compile, you mean build, correct? LA

@LA: Yes, (compiling is part of the build process) I just tested it on an iPad with Retina Display, and it does not crash. I noticed another problem. The Advertisement banner at the top of the screen covers the "Back" button. Apple may not like this, because when an advertisement which is only partially covering the tab bar is running, the back button is visible, however it does not function because the transparent advertisement view is overlaid on top of it. I noticed that the photos that are used within your app are stored in your "Photos" in your User Account. I would recommend placing these images in BT_Images (they are safer there, because if they are ever moved or deleted from your "Photos" folder, your app will not run. Did you Clean the project before archiving it for submission? Jake

@Jake Chasan, Thank you for the testing and all of your advice. I put them in BT_Images? I have been putting pics and other things in Art! Should I take the Scringo out until it's published? Yes on the clean. LA

I would put the images in the BT_Images folder. Scringo seems fine, although I would take the advertising off until it is published. Jake
