What is the best way to show an https:// page?

I have tried the custom URL plugin, does not work. Only shows a blank screen when referred to... In the same app, I have a non secure link (http://)that works fine. Not sure what to try next. Only https:// is available... What other options? Custom HTML doc with the embedded link? Seems that I'd there is an issue with https:// then there has to be some work around. Done a Google search and it seems its something to do with ssl certificate handler and seen same type of answer in a couple if posts.
